Cory Cassel - Executive Director/Fair Manager

Cory Cassel has been working in the events & entertainment industry, planning and promoting events of all varieties and sizes, for over 30 years. As a dedicated community builder, Cory has had a hand in bringing community events such as Canada Day celebrations, concert series and festivals to life throughout the Lower Mainland. In addition to managing venues like The Stage in Mission and publishing What’s On! Magazines in both Mission and Abbotsford, Cory has played a role in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for organizations like Mission Hospice Society, Rotary and the Fraser Valley Youth Society. Cory is no stranger to the world of agricultural fairs, having been a 4-H member as well as a contract worker with the PNE Fair Agriculture department. He is also a Director on the Fraser Valley Regional District Board as the elected representative for Electoral Area G. Cory is excited to get started with Abbotsford Agrifair and is ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work!
