Liam Ritchie is a third-generation agricultural professional from the Fraser Valley, where he helps manage his family’s broiler farm, research facility, and poultry veterinary practice. Growing up in a farming household led by his father, Dr. Stewart Ritchie, Liam developed a deep appreciation for agriculture, animal care, and the people who make local food production possible. He graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a bachelor's in business and a diploma in Agricultural Technology.

Today, Liam plays an active role in advancing poultry health and farm management through broiler research and development, performance improvement, and farmer-focused education at Canadian Poultry Consultants and S. J. Ritchie Research Farms. He also oversees a small full-blood Wagyu program and remains committed to promoting high animal-care standards across all aspects of his work.

Liam brings a strong passion for community involvement, youth engagement, and agricultural education. He is dedicated to helping strengthen the connection between the public and local farming, and he views Agrifair as an important platform for celebrating agriculture and the families who sustain it.
